The name Glasgow 1770 recalls a historic Glasgow distillery founded in 1770 that closed in 1902.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eToday, Glasgow Distillery produces three distinct whisky styles: double-distilled whisky made from either unpeated or peated malt, and triple-distilled whisky made from unpeated malt. Fermentation uses Pinnacle yeast in stainless-steel vessels and lasts at least 72 hours. The vessels can be thoroughly cleaned between production runs to keep the smoky and unpeated styles separate.
