Fresh sugarcane and traditional pot stills are used in production, with distillation following the Cognac method. The aging takes place under tropical conditions in former Cognac barrels, which supports the development of complex aromas. The bottling is done in gift packaging, and this rum is presented as 'Pure Single Rum' without added sugar or colorants.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: The nose reveals ripe stone fruits, fresh sugarcane, and floral notes, followed by vanilla, roasted nuts, and fine wood.

Palate: On the palate, the rum is powerful and concentrated, with juicy fruit, spicy accents, oak wood, and a slightly herbal depth.

Finish: The finish is long, dry, and well-structured, with lingering wood notes, gentle spice, and a hint of fruit.

Distillery/Bottler: Habitation Velier is a product line from Velier, launched in 2015, specializing in 'Pure Single Rums'.
