Citrus peel adds freshness, while subtle peat and mature oak complete the profile. The whisky was bottled at its cask strength of 43.3%, without chill filtration or added colouring. His interest in individual whisky casks had begun while he was working at Edinburgh’s Prestonfield House Hotel. The original plan was to have famous personalities sign the bottlings. Although the idea was soon abandoned, it gave the company its name.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSymington’s purchase of Edradour distillery in 2002 established a new home for the independent bottler. By 2007, the entire operation had moved to the site near Pitlochry. Additional warehouses with room for more than 20,000 casks expanded the capacity for cask storage and selection.
