Special features: This 46-year-old single malt whisky was distilled on April 8, 1971, at the Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay and bottled on July 24, 2017, by Signatory Vintage. It matured in a hogshead cask (cask number 2226) and was released in a limited edition of only 95 bottles. The whisky was neither colored nor chill-filtered, preserving its natural depth and complexity.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Inviting aromas of dried fruits, accompanied by a subtle sea breeze and a hint of nuts.
- Palate: Full-bodied and complex with notes of caramel, spices, and a slight saltiness reminiscent of the coastal region of Islay.
- Finish: Long and warming, with a lingering echo of oak and a subtle sweetness.

Signatory Vintage, an independent bottler based in Pitlochry, Scotland, is known for its careful selection and bottling of single cask whiskies.
