Special features: This rare single malt whisky is exclusively distilled during the summer months of June and July, as well as in winter at the Daftmill Farm in the Scottish Lowlands, when agricultural activities are at rest. The Cuthbert family has been processing their own grain into this sought-after single malt since 2006. The 23 first fill bourbon barrels matured in the higher elevations of the traditional Dunnage Warehouse and were bottled in June 2025 in 5,250 bottles.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Bright, fresh aromas of juicy apples, accompanied by a light sweetness and subtle notes of honey and vanilla.
- Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, with a pleasant texture that combines sweet grain notes and stewed apples, reminiscent of warm oatmeal with fresh fruits and a hint of honey.
- Finish: Smooth and lingering, with a harmonious interplay of malt and ripe fruits that slowly fades away.
