Special features: On the occasion of the 200th anniversary, the Edradour Distillery presents this limited single malt, which has been fully matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV in natural cask strength, without chill filtration and without coloring, it reflects the traditional craftsmanship of the distillery.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Fruity sweetness of dates and oranges, accompanied by spicy notes of cloves and cinnamon.
- Palate: Full-bodied and sweet with flavors of dried fruits, almonds, spices, and orange zest, rounded off with a hint of honey.
- Finish: Long-lasting with dry oak wood, sweet marzipan, and a fruity spiciness.
Distillery/Bottler: The Edradour Distillery, founded in 1825, is considered one of the smallest traditional distilleries in Scotland. It is known for its artisanal production and the use of traditional methods that are hardly practiced in any other distillery.
