Special features: This 17-year-old Glen Moray Single Malt Whisky was distilled in 2007 and matured entirely in fresh barrels from the heart of Bourbon country, Kentucky. After six years in American oak barrels, it was bottled in the autumn of 2025. The bottling is limited to 582 bottles and was not chill filtered and bottled without coloring.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Banoffee, dried mango, sweet malt
- Palate: Fresh grain notes, apricot, roasted almond
- Finish: Long-lasting sweet spices, gentle oak roasting
Distillery/Bottler: The Glen Moray Distillery, founded in 1828, has been dedicated to the production of Single Malt Whiskies since the 1890s. It produces a wonderfully light, buttery "New Make," which is ideal for maturation in bourbon barrels. Murray McDavid, known for innovative cask maturations, has bottled this whisky from the sister casks of Glen Moray that were already distilled in 2019.
