Special Features: The Heartgow Winter 2025 is a limited special release from Hercynian Distilling Co., exclusively for the customers of Kirsch Import. This single malt whisky has matured in first fill hogsheads and small octaves that previously held the rare Palo Cortado as well as sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry. With a limited edition of only 300 bottles, this whisky presents itself in all its glory.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: An enticing aroma of smoked bacon, accompanied by warm notes of fireplace wood and a hint of malt.
• Palate: The sweetness of raisins and roasted macadamia nuts combines with flavors of caramel and dark chocolate, leading to a harmonious flavor composition.
• Finish: A long-lasting aftertaste of apricot tart and a subtle mandarin aroma rounds off the tasting experience.

Distillery/Bottler: The Hercynian Distilling Co. / Hammerschmiede is a traditional manufactory in the Harz region that has been producing spirits by hand since 1985. Since 2002, it has enriched the market with its single malt whiskies under the brands Elsburn, Willowburn, The Alrik, and Emperor's Way. The distillery places great emphasis on regional ingredients and uses spring water for production. The stills are fired with wood, which gives the whiskies a special note.
