Special features: Kamiki Intense is an exclusive variant of the Kamiki Original Whisky, which gains a more intense and fuller flavor through extended aging in Japanese cedar wood barrels (Yoshino Sugi).
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Fresh, dry wood notes and dried tea leaves.
- Palate: Strong cedar with earthy hints of tobacco and tea. Malt and cinnamon spice combine with intense wood notes.
- Finish: Peppery cedar, brown bread, and honey with lasting wood and spice notes.
Distillery/Bottler: The Kamiki Distillery is located in the historic Soni Village in the Nara region of Japan. As the first whisky distillery in Nara, it combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology and uses the crystal-clear spring water from the Soni Plateau for aging its whiskies.
