The journey to Japan inspired the selection of unique botanicals such as Sakura (cherry blossom), Umeboshi (pickled plum), Wasabi, Goya cucumber, Mango, Papaya, and Matcha tea. The base alcohol made from rice emphasizes the connection to Japanese culture. The bottle is adorned with a handcrafted cork featuring an embedded coin that displays the logo of the partner distillery and a temple.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: A floral bouquet with delicate cherry blossom and tea aromas, accompanied by a fresh citrus note.
- Palate: A harmonious combination of the fruity sweetness of mango and papaya, paired with the subtle spiciness of wasabi and the slight bitterness of goya cucumber.

Distillery/Bottler: The Hamburg Distilling Company, founded in 2017 by Martin Spieker and Kaspar Hagedorn, is known for producing high-quality spirits. In addition to the internationally awarded Knut Hansen Dry Gin, the company also produces the premium rum Ron Piet. In November 2023, the Hamburg Distilling Company was acquired by Schwarze und Schlichte GmbH & Co. KG, with the aim of maintaining the quality and identity of the brands.
