Special features: The Matusalem 23 Gran Reserva is presented in a newly designed bottle that reflects the rich heritage and tradition of the house. This premium rum ages an average of 23 years using the Solera method in oak barrels, combining the craftsmanship of Cuban rum production with the expertise of the Dominican Republic.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Seductive aromas of caramel, sweet spices like vanilla, and fruity hints of ripe plums.
- Palate: Delicate taste of vanilla, complemented by molasses and gentle caramel, united in a silky texture.
- Finish: Long-lasting, pleasantly dry, and less sweet, highlighting the complex character of this rum.
Distillery/Bottler: Matusalem & Company was founded in 1872 by brothers Benjamin and Eduardo Camp in Santiago de Cuba.
