Special features: The Romero & Sons 35 y.o. Ecuador Rum is the third release of the exclusive "Cuatro Leyendas" series and honors the legend of Cantuña from Quito. This limited edition combines 50-year-old rum from the distillery founder with distillate from 1990, which has been aged in Quito at an altitude of 2,850 meters since then. The 237 bottles of this rarity are unadulterated and not chill-filtered.

Distillery/Bottler: Romero & Sons is the oldest distillery in Ecuador and was founded in 1906 by Alfonso Romero. The distillery is located in Quito, at about 2,850 meters above sea level in the Andes, and uses traditional methods of fermentation, distillation, and aging. The family places great importance on authenticity and quality, increasingly using sugarcane honey, the concentrated juice of the sugarcane.
