The Temple Bar 18 years is a special bottling that has been finished in a Malbec cask for three years. The whiskey was first matured in a bourbon cask for 15 years and then finished for another three years in an Argentinian Malbec cask.

Roberto Appendino, an employee of the Temple Bar, comes from Argentina. He combines his passion for Irish whiskey and Argentinian wine in this bottling. The wine barrels come from the Bodega Bianchi, where the Malbec grape grows in the perfect climate.

The whiskey is not colored and not chill filtered.
