Special features: This single grain whisky comes from the Oxford Artisan Distillery in England and was bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. It is based on a mash bill of 51% corn, 34% rye, 10% wheat, and 5% malted barley. The grains used are cultivated, distilled, and aged near the distillery, making the whisky an authentic product of the region. The aging took place in a new, charred 225-liter barrel made of American oak for 19 months, followed by a 21-month finishing in a 100-liter barrel made of French oak that previously contained Sauternes wine. This combination gives the whisky a complex array of flavors.
