Bourbon Whiskey: An American cultural asset
Bourbon whiskey, a distillate that captures the essence of American tradition and craftsmanship, has made a name for itself far beyond its origins in rural Kentucky. Characterized by its unique composition, with at least 51% corn in the mashbill, each drop of bourbon undergoes a carefully monitored aging process in new, charred oak barrels. This method not only gives it unparalleled depth and complexity, but also its characteristic golden color.
From Kentucky Straight Bourbon to artisanal bottlings
Kentucky Straight Bourbon, the heartbeat of American whiskey culture, must be distilled, aged and bottled in Kentucky according to legal regulations. These regulations not only ensure the quality and authenticity of the product, but also preserve a heritage that has shaped generations of American distillers. In addition to the traditional distilleries, there are a growing number of craft distilleries experimenting with innovative production processes and unconventional grain blends to create new and exciting flavor profiles.
A variety of flavors that inspire
Bourbon offers an impressive range of flavors, from deep, smoky notes to smooth, sweet undertones dominated by vanilla, caramel and oak. This variety makes bourbon a versatile companion, not only neat or on the rocks, but also as a central ingredient in a range of classic and modern cocktails. Whether in a refreshing Mint Julep or a spicy Old Fashioned, bourbon adds a rich depth of flavor to any creation.
