St. Kilian Grave Digger Berry Metal peated

Special features: This extraordinary liqueur was created in collaboration between Master Distiller Mario Rudolf and Axel “Ironfinger” Ritt, the guitarist of the heavy metal band Grave Digger. It is based on the heavily peated New Make Spirit from St. Kilian with 54 ppm peat smoke and was bottled at a robust 40% ABV. The combination of fruity forest berries and fine peat smoke gives this liqueur a unique depth.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Mild peat smoke envelops an intensely fruity potpourri of red and black forest berries.
  • Palate: Delightfully fruity, sweet, and juicy with intense notes of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry, accompanied by a hint of caramel and subtle peat smoke.
  • Finish: Creamy berry compote lingers pleasantly long with fine smoke and subtly dry ash notes.

Distillery/Bottler: St. Kilian Distillers is a German distillery known for its innovative and high-quality spirits. It combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques and enjoys experimenting with various cask maturations and ingredients to create unique tasting experiences.
