Berliner Luft Aperitivo

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 18% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: Yes

Special Features:

Berliner Luft Aperitivo pairs the brand’s peppermint character with bitter orange and a restrained bitter note. This orange-red liqueur adds an aperitif option to the range and can be enjoyed neat over ice or in a spritz with Prosecco and soda water.

SCHILKIN launched Aperitivo on 27 April 2026. It contains 18% alcohol and comes in a 0.7-litre bottle. The recipe is vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Distinct peppermint leads on the nose, joined by fruity citrus notes, fresh orange peel and a hint of eucalyptus.
• Palate: On the palate, cooling mint and bittersweet orange combine with balanced sweetness. The texture is delicate and balanced, while the bitterness remains in the background.
• Finish: The finish is soft and long-lasting. Mint lingers, accompanied by a subtle trace of white pepper.

Distillery/Bottler:

The manufacturer is SCHILKIN GmbH & Co. KG BERLIN, based in Berlin-Kaulsdorf. The spirits factory there was founded in 1932. Following state participation from 1958, it became a state-owned enterprise in 1972; the company was returned to the family in 1990.

Alongside Berliner Luft, the range includes vodka, dry gin, brandy and herbal liqueurs. SCHILKIN uses traditional family recipes for its vodkas. The clear peppermint liqueur Berliner Luft is now the company’s best-known brand; Aperitivo adds a fruity, bitter dimension to its mint character.
