Berliner Luft Special Likörmix Mini 4x0,02

Volume: 0.08 litres | Alcohol content: 23% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: Yes

Special Features:

Berliner Luft Special pairs three peppermint variations with a sour cherry liqueur. The folding carton contains 0.02 litres each of Berliner Luft at 18%, Berliner Persico at 16%, Berliner Luft Eisbonbon at 18% and Berliner Luft Strong at 40%. With a total volume of 0.08 litres, the gift pack offers a direct comparison of the four liqueurs.

Fresh peppermint is the defining feature of classic Berliner Luft. Eisbonbon adds the cooling flavour of the ice candies it is named after, while Strong continues the peppermint range with a higher alcohol content. Berliner Persico, by contrast, contains no peppermint: sour cherry juice shapes its fruity character, rounded out by a subtle almond note. Classic Berliner Luft is suitable for drinking neat, well chilled, or for mixing; Persico can also be served over ice or with a soft drink.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: In the classic Berliner Luft included in the pack, intense, fresh peppermint dominates the nose. Delicate menthol notes, a little lemon balm and sweetish herbs accompany it, while citrus peel and eucalyptus remain subtle nuances.
• Palate: Classic Berliner Luft tastes sweet and cooling, with a pronounced mint character and a soft, smooth mouthfeel. Light herbal notes, a delicate vanilla-like sweetness and a hint of candy floss complement the peppermint.
• Finish: The cooling mint freshness of classic Berliner Luft lingers for a long time. The finish remains clean, without any unpleasant bitterness.

Distillery/Bottler:

The liqueurs come from SCHILKIN GmbH & Co. KG BERLIN Spirituosenherstellung in Berlin-Kaulsdorf. The company combines a range of classic spirits, including vodka, dry gin, brandy and herbal liqueur, with various expressions of the Berliner Luft brand. Traditional family recipes are part of its vodka production, while SCHILKIN uses modern bottling technology. Berliner Luft and Berliner Persico illustrate two distinct aspects of the range: peppermint liqueur on one hand and a mild liqueur with sour cherry juice on the other.
