For Batch 4 of Bimber Ex-Bourbon Small Batch, whiskies were selected from some of the London distillery’s oldest first-fill ex-bourbon casks and married together. These American oak casks had been filled in 2017. The whisky was bottled in March 2023 at 51.2%, with a release of 7,000 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.
The fourth batch combines light fruit notes with caramel, vanilla and delicate spice. Its balanced character and soft, mouth-filling texture lead into a long finish of fruit, grain and sweetness.

Bimber Distillery in London uses barley from a single farm. Traditional floor malting and manual mashing are followed by seven days of fermentation in wooden washbacks made in the distillery’s own cooperage. Small copper stills are directly fired. The spirit matures in selected casks, and the whisky is bottled on site at the distillery.
