Ein Klitze Pistazie uses mild St. Kilian Single Malt Spirit as the alcoholic base for a cream liqueur with natural pistachio flavours. The malted barley spirit is double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills. The liqueur contains 20% alcohol and comes in a bottle containing 0.7 litres.

The name recalls the pistachio ice cream scene in «Zwei sind nicht zu bremsen»: Terence Hill plays Johnny Firpo, who repeatedly asks his brother Charlie, played by Bud Spencer, for a little scoop of ice cream. Since April 2025, St. Kilian has continued the former special bottling Johnny Firpo – Homemade – Ein Klitze Pistazie under the Terence Hill name as part of its permanent liqueur range.

The cream liqueur has a soft green colour in the glass. It can be enjoyed neat or over ice, and also used in cocktails and desserts. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place; a brief swirl or gentle shake is sufficient before pouring. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and consume the contents within six months.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Cream and roasted pistachios lead on the nose. Toffee adds to the aroma, while vanilla and a delicate almond sweetness provide subtler accents.
• Palate: The liqueur is full-bodied and creamy on the palate. Its creamy sweetness balances the intense pistachio flavour. Subtle vanilla and almond notes are joined by a lightly salty touch.
• Finish: The gentle finish lingers for a long time. Cream and pistachio notes remain, accompanied by a delicate hint of almond.

Distillery/Bottler:

St. Kilian Distillers is based in Rüdenau near Miltenberg on the River Main in Lower Franconia. Andreas Thümmler founded the company in 2012, and the distillery began production in 2016. Its range includes liqueurs as well as whisky. The Terence Hill series is developed in collaboration with the actor’s management and links the spirits to characters and scenes from his films.
