Böser Kater Grapefruit Gin brings together grapefruit, blood orange, pomelo and juniper. This handcrafted gin contains no artificial additives and puts the fruity freshness of citrus centre stage. It is bottled at 47% alcohol.

The 0.5-litre bottling can be served with a Mediterranean tonic to make a gin and tonic. The brand recommends Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Grapefruit Gin is produced at Edelobstbrennerei Schleihauf in Eppingen and is an official bottling of the Böser Kater brand. Founder Adrian Clausing took over the family business in its third generation. The company has more than 40 years of experience in handcrafted spirits. While liqueurs and fruit spirits made from local fruit were once its main focus, Clausing expanded the range with his own gin recipes.

Clausing's cat Rüdiger inspired the brand name. Cats are also part of the company's concept: with every bottle sold, Böser Kater makes a donation to support its cat welfare partners. In 2025, the company completed a new production facility of its own, with larger production and storage areas providing space to develop the range further.
