Special features: This 21-year-old single malt was created by Master Distiller Billy Walker in a limited edition of Batch 6. It matured in a careful selection of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Spain. It was bottled at natural cask strength of 52.8% vol., without chill filtration and without the addition of colorants, to preserve the authentic flavors.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe dark cherries and honeycombs soaked in brandy, accompanied by notes of spiced orange, thick syrup, and blackberry pie.
• Palate: Dark chocolate, dried red berries, and maraschino cherries, followed by heather honey and candied ginger.
• Finish: Plum brandy and mocha.

Distillery/Bottler: The GlenAllachie Distillery, founded in 1967, is located in the heart of the Scottish Speyside region, near the town of Aberlour. After several changes of ownership, the distillery was taken over by whisky icon Billy Walker in 2017, leading to a renaissance of the GlenAllachie Distillery. Under Walker's leadership, the focus is on artisanal production and the use of a variety of casks for maturation, including sherry casks. The distillery uses water from the nearby Ben Rinnes, contributing to the purity and character of its whiskies.
