Special features: This limited release from the renowned Magnum Series #3 presents a 9-year-old Hampden rum, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2025. The ester content is between 200 and 400 g/hlpa, which represents the characteristic Hampden style with intense floral and fruity notes. The Magnum Series is distinguished by collaborations with renowned photographers; in this edition, the Jamaican distillery was captured by Cristina De Middel.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Rich and velvety with floral aromas of mignonette and hyacinth, accompanied by musky and medicinal notes. With aeration, scents of cane sugar honey and raw sugar unfold, complemented by hints of rubber and spices like white pepper and ginger.
• Palate: Lively and full-bodied, with intense flavors of mustard seeds and cloves that develop into honey-sweet and slightly tarry notes of pipe tobacco.
• Finish: Balanced and long-lasting, with bright citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit as well as juicy fruits like ripe banana and apple. The retro-nasal impression conveys the vibrant atmosphere of an active fermentation chamber.

Distillery/Bottler: The Hampden Distillery, founded around 1750, is located in the Trelawny Parish of Jamaica. Known for its heavy, ester-rich rums, the distillery exclusively uses copper pot stills and relies on long, natural fermentations without the use of commercial yeasts. These practices lead to the characteristic flavors that make Hampden rums famous worldwide.
