Edradour 1999/2025 - 25 y.o. - 1st Fill Madeira Cask #901 - 200th Anniversary

Special features: On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Edradour Distillery, this limited edition presents a 25-year-old single malt that has matured in a first fill Madeira hogshead cask. With only 294 bottles worldwide, this whisky is a true collector's item. Bottled in the characteristic Ibisco decanter bottle, it reflects the traditional craftsmanship of the distillery.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Inviting aromas of dried fruits, accompanied by subtle spices and a hint of nuts.
  • Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with notes of candied orange peel, roasted spices, hazelnuts, and sultanas that merge into a warm, rich, and elegantly spiced tasting experience.
  • Finish: Long and warming, with lingering aromas of dark chocolate, sweet Madeira, gentle oak, and a hint of cocoa powder.

Distillery/Bottler: The Edradour Distillery, founded in 1825, is considered one of the smallest and most traditional distilleries in Scotland. It is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and is known for its artisanal production of limited single malts. Since 2002, it has been owned by Andrew Symington, the founder of the independent bottler Signatory Vintage, and Edradour stands for authentic craftsmanship and innovative cask maturations.
