Brand new to our range is Clonakilty Galley Head Irish Whiskey from the Clonakilty Distillery. This blended whiskey contains not only sourced grain but also home-distilled Clonakilty single pot still whiskey. The successful combination of ex-bourbon casks and a finish in ex-Rhum Agricole casks gives it a well-rounded flavor. Typical bourbon cask aromas like vanilla and honey emerge, as do fruit and tropical notes. The wholesome pot still character of the Clonakilty-distilled distillate also comes through. This character, like the accessible 40% alcohol content, is very well integrated into the blend. A whiskey that will absolutely win you over.
