Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 40% ABV | Colouring: Yes

Special Features:

This limited single malt was distilled in a small traditional copper pot still and then matured for twelve years in bourbon casks. The bottle contains 0.7 litres, and the whiskey is bottled at 40% ABV.

Honey and orange define the nose. Spice, sweet vanilla and oak come together on the palate before the whiskey develops into a long finish.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: The nose combines honey with orange.
  • Palate: The palate reveals spice, sweet vanilla and oak.
  • Finish: The finish is long.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Temple Bar Whiskey Company grew out of the whiskey tradition of the Dublin pub of the same name, whose history dates back to 1840. Tom Cleary took over the pub in 1992, and its own whiskey range has been maturing in the cellars there since 2005. The company thus continues the family’s generations-old practice of selecting and bottling Irish whiskey. For this twelve-year-old single malt, it handles the selection and bottling under The Temple Bar brand.
