West Cork Irish IPA Cask Finish , Blended Whiskey, 40% Vol.

Typical of the mild Irish whiskey style, all West Cork bottlings are distilled three times. The stills are only half full - for a stronger interaction between the copper of the pot stills and the rising vapors. For the beer barrel finishes, the West Cork Blended Whiskey is finished in IPA & Stout barrels from the Black's Brewery in Kinsale after maturing in 1st fill bourbon barrels. The influence of the beer barrels can be clearly felt in the nose as well as on the palate.
