Jean-Luc Pasquet Le Cognac de Paul Lot L57

Special features: The Le Cognac de Paul Lot L57 is a Single Cask from Grande Champagne, regarded as a liquid heritage of Paul Gaillard. For three generations, the family has carefully preserved this stock before Paul’s granddaughter Carole honored it with this limited cask strength bottling (319 bottles). The production takes place at the organic certified family business Jean-Luc Pasquet, which relies entirely on traditional craftsmanship and tells regional winemaker and distiller stories through the Trésors de Famille series.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Beeswax, ripe banana, kumquats and bergamot, honey, quince paste and jelly.
  • Palate: Menthol, tobacco and oak, herbal tea, thyme, lime, cinnamon rolls with raisins, licorice.
  • Finish: Powerful and long-lasting with spicy and sweet notes.

Distillery/Bottler: Jean-Luc Pasquet is a family-run, organic certified Cognac producer with roots dating back to 1730. Under the leadership of Jean-Luc Pasquet and his wife Amy, traditional production is maintained. The distillery places great importance on craftsmanship and the connection to regional winemakers, which is reflected in the Trésors de Famille series.
