Böser Kater peach liqueur is handmade, vegan and produced without artificial additives. Ripe peaches are at the heart of its fruity character. During production, the fruit is crushed and macerated in alcohol to extract its aromas. The liqueur has an alcohol content of 20% and comes in a 0.5-litre bottle.

The liqueur can be enjoyed neat or over ice and works well in variations on a spritz and other fruity cocktails. It can also enhance desserts such as ice cream or cake fillings.

Distillery/Bottler:

Edelobstbrennerei Schleihauf GmbH produces the peach liqueur for Böser Kater. Behind the brand is Adrian Clausing, who took over the family business in its third generation. The company has been making handcrafted spirits for over 40 years. Its original focus was on liqueurs and fruit spirits made from fruit grown in local meadows; Clausing initially expanded the range with his own gin recipes.

Clausing’s cat Rüdiger inspired the name Böser Kater. The brand also reflects his commitment to cats in need: part of the proceeds from every bottle sold is donated to partner organisations working to protect cats.
