Berliner Luft is vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free, with no added colourings. Served well chilled, it can be enjoyed neat or used to add mint flavour to cocktails and long drinks. Its fresh mint character also pairs well with dark chocolate and chocolate desserts.

Berliner Luft is produced by SCHILKIN GmbH & Co. KG BERLIN Spirituosenherstellung in Berlin-Kaulsdorf. The company's family history begins in St Petersburg, where Natalie and Apollon Schilkin opened a spirits factory around the turn of the 20th century. After moving to Berlin, the family resumed production in 1932 at the Alt-Kaulsdorf estate. Sergej Schilkin later played a role during reconstruction after the Second World War and the period of state ownership; the company returned to private ownership after German reunification.

The range extends from vodka, gin and brandy to herbal liqueurs and newer liqueur varieties. Traditional family recipes still play a part in the vodkas, while modern bottling technology is used for today's range. Berliner Luft peppermint liqueur is one of the company's best-known brands.
