Special features: The Cartron Liqueur de Banane comes from France and is produced by Joseph Cartron, a family business that has been based in Nuits-Saint-Georges since 1882. Only ripe bananas from Ecuador are used for this liqueur, which are processed into a puree. The maceration takes place in neutral sugar cane distillate over a period of about 10 weeks to optimally extract the flavors. After maceration, the liqueur is filtered and refined with crystal sugar to achieve the desired sweetness.

- Nose: The Cartron Liqueur de Banane presents a pleasant and open aroma. The aromatic softness is accompanied by a penetrating fruitiness that reflects a great purity of the fruit aroma.
- Palate: On the palate, the liqueur shows a fresh attack, followed by immediate fruit flavor. The texture is round with pleasant fruit sweetness and a rather gentle finish.
- Finish: The finish is characterized by a dominating sweetness that fades rather gently.
Distillery/Bottler: Joseph Cartron is known for producing liqueurs and Eaux-de-Vie in Burgundy. The company exclusively uses selected fruits that are carefully processed. For the Liqueur de Banane, ripe bananas from Ecuador are used, which are processed through maceration in sugar cane distillate.
