Zekilla Likör mit Zimt und Chilli

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 20% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Cinnamon and chilli lead the flavour of ZEKILLA, with tequila completing the recipe. The result is a sweet, spicy liqueur whose heat accompanies the flavour without overpowering it. It is made in Germany. This bottling contains 0.7 litres at 20% alcohol.

Serve ZEKILLA well chilled, neat as a shot or over ice. Cherry juice and cola are suitable mixers, and it can also be added to dark hot chocolate.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Cinnamon leads the aroma, accompanied by subtle sweet spice and a hint of chilli.
• Palate: On the palate, light sweetness meets noticeable but restrained chilli heat. A mild tequila note complements the flavour in the background.
• Finish: Cinnamon spice and chilli heat linger together through the long finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

ZEKILLA comes from easy drinks GmbH in Märkische Heide. Company owner Stefan Buchner developed the liqueur; its name draws on the ingredients Zimt, the German word for cinnamon, chilli and tequila.

The company has developed and produced premixed cocktail bases for the hospitality industry since the early 1990s. Juice and ice are added before serving, simplifying preparation at the bar. Alongside these bases, easy drinks makes its own liqueurs, including ZEKILLA and the apple-strudel-flavoured heisser Strudel. The company's headquarters and warehouse are in the Spreewald, south of Berlin.
