For this cream liqueur, Vallein Tercinier combines fresh cream and natural caramel extracts with Fleur de sel de l'île de Ré and Cognac. The Cognacs used first mature for several years in oak casks in the house's cellars. The recipe is developed under the cellar master's direction, bringing together aged brandy and a creamy caramel character.

The liqueur contains milk and is offered at 18% alcohol in a bottle containing 0.5 litres.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Pronounced caramel appears first on the nose. Finer, rich caramel aromas then unfold, accompanied by subtle fruity Cognac notes.
• Palate: The liqueur is distinctly creamy on the palate. Caramel and delicate Cognac notes combine into a sweet, harmonious flavour with a smooth texture.
• Finish: The creamy caramel flavour lingers on the finish, accompanied by delicate Cognac notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

The history of Vallein Tercinier is closely linked to Domaine des Forges, which Louis Vallein acquired in 1791. Georges Vallein established a trading company in 1850 and began selling bottled Cognac. As an estate owner, distiller and merchant, he built up the house; later generations expanded the business across Europe and subsequently into Asia.

Producing and blending Cognac have been part of the family's work for generations. In the decades following the Second World War, eight stills supplied spirits both to the family's own house and to other trading houses. This expertise in selecting and blending aged Cognacs also informs the caramel cream liqueur developed by the house's cellar master.
