Special features: The Fanø Skibsrom – Havfruen is a Spiced Rum from the Danish island of Fanø in the North Sea. It is based on a 12-year-aged Jamaican rum, which has been refined with local sea buckthorn, heather honey, and Madagascar vanilla. After this refinement, the rum matures in oak barrels that previously contained port wine. The sweetness of the rum comes exclusively from these high-quality ingredients and not from industrial sugar. The name "Havfruen" means "mermaid" and refers to the maritime tradition and the long sailing history of the island.
