Rum forms the base of Dead Man's Fingers Golden Spiced, a flavoured blend with sweet, creamy vanilla, cinnamon and fresh lime. The citrus notes provide a lively contrast to the sweetness and spice. It has a golden amber colour in the glass and contains colouring.

Golden Spiced can be mixed with cola, lemonade or ginger beer for an easy long drink. It is offered at 32% alcohol in a 0.7-litre bottle without gift packaging. The clear bottle features the distinctive skull design in blue and red.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, creamy, sweet vanilla and cinnamon combine with lively notes of lime and orange.
• Palate: On the palate, soft vanilla notes meet nutmeg and warm cinnamon. A subtle pineapple accent complements the spice.
• Finish: Gentle caramel lingers on the finish. Delicate spice and subtle fruit notes accompany the soft finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Dead Man's Fingers originated at the Rum & Crab Shack in St Ives, Cornwall. For the original spiced rum, the team drew inspiration from Cornish saffron cake and ice cream with Pedro Ximénez, among other things. The brand name also comes from the restaurant's culinary world: “dead man's fingers” are the finger-shaped gills of crabs, which are removed before eating.

Today, the Bristol & Bath Rum Distillery in Bristol is the brand's home. The site houses a 500-litre rum still with two retorts, along with bars and a Rum School where visitors can distil their own rum creation and take it home with a personalised label. Halewood Sales is the company behind the Dead Man's Fingers brand.
