Special features: This limited rum from the renowned Hampden Distillery in Jamaica was distilled in 2018 and bottled after seven years of tropical aging in 2025. With an impressive ester content of 1,000 to 1,100 g/hlpa, it belongs to the HGML mark, which stands for particularly aromatic rums. The Magnum Series #3 comprises only 600 bottles, making it a coveted rarity for collectors and connoisseurs.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Complex aromas of dried grapes, roasted pineapple, and acacia honey, accompanied by floral notes and a hint of vanilla.
• Palate: Full-bodied and velvety with intense fruit notes of apple, pear, banana, and pineapple. Underpinned by resinous nuances of sugarcane and ginger, which blend with floral accents of lily and dandelion, as well as spicy hints of turmeric and ylang-ylang.
• Finish: Long and concentrated with herbal notes of freshly cut sugarcane, herbs like tobacco and straw, as well as floral tones of tuberose. In the aftertaste, aromas of tar, charcoal, bourbon vanilla, and star anise unfold, extending the tasting experience.

Distillery/Bottler: The Hampden Distillery, founded around 1753, has a history of over 270 years and is known for its highly aromatic rums with high ester content. It is located in the heart of the Trelawny region in Jamaica and spans over 3,500 hectares. In 2009, the distillery was taken over by the Hussey family and has since continued its tradition of producing exceptional rums.
