Havana Club 7 y.o. 3 Liter

Volume: 3 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Havana Club 7 Años combines Cuban molasses rum with at least seven years of ageing in oak casks previously used for bourbon. It is a blend of aged spirits developed by Don José Navarro. Vanilla and tropical fruit meet tobacco, molasses and spicy oak notes, while cocoa and chocolate complement its mature character. The rum displays a deep amber colour in the glass. The bottle bears the Cuban government seal and the protected designation of origin D.O.P. Cuba.

This version contains 3 litres of rum at 40% alcohol. The large format is suited to sharing. The rum can be enjoyed neat, over ice or in cocktails.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals distinctly sweet impressions of vanilla, caramel and tropical fruit. Tobacco, cocoa and oak add spicy and woody notes.
• Palate: The rum is soft and rounded on the palate, with a creamy texture. Molasses and chocolate combine with a light sweetness and spicy accents.
• Finish: The medium-length finish recalls dry cocoa and milky coffee. A spicy warmth gradually fades, leaving a soft, silky impression.

Distillery/Bottler:

At Havana Club, the Maestros del Ron Cubano oversee production from the selection of Cuban molasses through to ageing in oak casks in the island’s tropical climate. Their work includes assessing and blending aged rum bases. Don José Navarro drew on this Cuban tradition to develop the seven-year-old rum.

Havana Club International S.A. was established in 1993 as a joint venture between Pernod Ricard S.A. and the Cuba Ron SA Corporation to develop the Cuban brand internationally. The knowledge of Cuba’s rum masters was recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage in 2022. It is passed on within the community of Maestros and underpins their production and selection decisions.
