The Romero & Sons 12 yo is a product of two generations. This single blended rum marries very different ingredients: pot still rum made from sugarcane juice and honey, crafted by Master Distiller Johan Romero, meets old molasses rum from the column still, distilled by his father, Napoleon Romero. The result is a smooth, luscious experience with warm notes of forest fruits, leather, and caramel, leading to a wine-like finish.

In 1906, Alfonso Romero began building copper stills in the heart of the Ecuadorian capital, laying the foundation for Ecuador's oldest craft distillery. Today, Alfonso's grandchildren, siblings Johan and Ivanova Romero, run the Andean family business.
