Ron Canuto Ecuador Rum 7 yo
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 40% | Non-chill-filtered | No coloring
Description
The Paute Valley lies in a picturesque landscape at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level. The subtropical climate here is where the rums of one of Ecuador's oldest distilleries, Destilería Zhumir, mature.
Their Ron Canuto is made from molasses from the sugar cane plantations of the southern highlands. After distillation in the region's traditional column still, the rum matures in American white oak barrels.
Ron Canuto 7 yo is an affordable bestseller for uncomplicated moments of enjoyment. It combines rums aged at least 7 years in American oak. Masterfully blended, the blend is aged for an additional one to two months in barrels before bottling.
Produced in small batches, hand-numbered, and hand-signed by the master distiller, Ron Canuto is balanced and sweet at an accessible 40% ABV, with delicate notes of vanilla, caramel, and berries.
