Corporación Cuba Ron S.A. produces Ron Santiago de Cuba in southeastern Cuba. This Cuban company continues making rum in the brand's place of origin. Santiago de Cuba belongs to the Oriente region, where the tradition of light Cuban rum has been rooted since 1862.

The Maestros del Ron Cubano combine cask selection with the art of blending. Their knowledge has been passed down for more than eight generations. Molasses from the region's sugar cane forms the basis of Ron Santiago de Cuba. Their methods include charcoal filtration and maturation in white oak casks, using both new and previously used casks.
