This eleven-year-old Tamdhu was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 from a sherry hogshead at 57.1%. It forms part of the High Proof series presented jointly by North Star Spirits and Sansibar Whisky, with natural colour and no chill filtration. Cask, vintage and powerful bottling strength are therefore the clear anchors of this Speyside release.

The nose begins with saturated fruit and warm sherry sweetness. On the palate it is powerful and fruit-forward; tangible depth, warmth and energetic high strength shape the middle without obscuring the fruit at its core. The intense, persistent finish keeps sherry warmth, fruit and a forceful presence closely linked. The progression is direct, concentrated and consistently sherry-led.

Tamdhu has worked in Knockando in Speyside for more than 125 years, with a clear focus on whiskies matured entirely in Oloroso sherry oak. In this High Proof release, the distillery's sherry expertise meets the cask selection of independent bottler North Star and its collaboration with Sansibar Whisky.
