Special features: This 14-year-old Aultmore Single Malt Whisky was bottled at cask strength by Signatory Vintage and matured for 14 years in a First Fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead. The bottling is limited to 346 bottles and was bottled without chill filtration and without coloring, preserving the natural character of the whisky.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Inviting aromas of sweet herbal tea, oak wood, and floral notes, accompanied by raisins, dried figs, and a hint of nutmeg.
- Palate: Rich notes of dried fruits like sultanas and dates, complemented by cinnamon, cloves, and a touch of heather. Spicy honey and roasted oak round off the tasting experience.
- Finish: Sweet and lingering with fine herbs, grated orange peel, and a pleasantly tannin-driven structure.
