Special features: On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the maiden voyage of the steamship SS Bushmills in 1890, the Old Bushmills Distillery presents this limited edition. The triple-distilled single malt matured entirely in Ruby Port wine casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal, which had previously been seasoned with port wine for three years. This special cask maturation gives the whiskey a unique depth and complexity.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Intense aromas of red apples, cherries, and plums, accompanied by a hint of marzipan and sweet milk chocolate.
• Palate: Gentle notes of raisins and sultanas, mixed with creamy toffee and a touch of cinnamon and cloves.
• Finish: Medium-long with hints of red berries, raisins, and plums, rounded off with a touch of vanilla and milk chocolate.

Distillery/Bottler: The Old Bushmills Distillery, founded in 1784 in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, is one of the oldest licensed whiskey distilleries in the world. It uses water from Saint Columb's Rill, a tributary of the River Bush, and produces the well-known brand Bushmills. The distillery is a popular tourist destination with about 120,000 visitors annually.
