Special features: This Single Pot Still Whiskey is made entirely from homegrown grain from Wayward Irish Spirits. After partial malting, it is distilled at the Great Northern Distillery. The aging occurs in several stages: first three months in ex-bourbon barrels, then over three years in ex-Bordeaux barrels, and a small part ages for an additional three months in ex-peated whiskey casks. The entire storage takes place in the microclimate of the storehouse at Lakeview Estate near Killarney.
