Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Intense aromas of sweet dried fruits, accompanied by caramel and honey. Spicy notes of cardamom, nutmeg, dried oranges, and tonka beans, rounded off with subtle oak notes.
- Palate: A soft bed of rich caramel and fudge, complemented by roasted almonds and a subtle honey sweetness. Spicy intense vanilla completes the tasting experience.
- Finish: Very long and pleasantly oily, with nuances of dried fruits and fine nutmeg.
Distillery/Bottler: The Slyrs distillery, founded in 1999 by Florian Stetter, is located at the picturesque Schliersee in Bavaria. As the largest single malt distillery in Germany, Slyrs stands for modern distillation art and regional ingredients. The distillery uses spring water from the Bavarian Alps and ages its whisky in barrels made of American white oak, resulting in a unique tasting experience.
