Special features: This Finnish single malt whisky has been aged for three years in reconstructed American oak and presents a light peat character. The malt source is the local company Viking Malt from Lahti, whose barley is grown no further than 150 km from the distillery. The barrels age in 40-foot-long, non-air-conditioned shipping containers, leading to significant temperature fluctuations from -35°C to +30°C, which affects the barrel maturation.
