Zuidam Inspiration Liqueur develops its flavour from extracts and distillates produced in-house. An extract of Bourbon vanilla pods from Madagascar and a distillate of fresh Spanish oranges form the foundation of this 24% liqueur, supplied in a 0.7-litre bottle.

These are complemented by distillates of Indian ginger root, anise seeds from Alicante and French coriander seeds. Despite this variety of ingredients, vanilla, orange and anise remain the liqueur’s defining flavours.

The recipe contains no added fragrances, colourings or flavourings. The liqueur can be enjoyed as a digestif with an ice cube or alongside coffee, and also lends itself to desserts as an aromatic ingredient.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals fresh fruit notes and delicate floral notes.
• Palate: On the palate, balanced sweetness combines with fresh citrus notes and subtle herbal tones.
• Finish: The long finish fades gently and freshly, leaving a delicate spice note.

Distillery/Bottler:

Zuidam Distillers produces and processes the distillates and extracts for its liqueurs at its own family-run premises in Baarle-Nassau. The independent distillery is managed by the second generation and uses exclusively natural raw materials. Both the aromatic base ingredients and the liqueurs composed from them are therefore made in-house.

Inspiration Liqueur belongs to Zuidam’s own liqueur range and is an official bottling. Alongside liqueurs, the family business also offers genever, gin, whisky, rum and vodka.
