Distilled in 2013, the single malt spent its full twelve-year maturation in two first-fill bourbon hogsheads before James Eadie bottled it in 2025 at 52.5% ABV. This 0.7-litre release is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring. Its label revisits the historical depiction of Aberfeldy from the distillery portrait published in the series in 1925.
The whisky combines grassy and tropical freshness with lychee, stone fruit and orchard fruit. Honeyed malt and spice complement the fruit, while creamy pastry and citrus notes shape its development through to the finish.

Aberfeldy Distillery has made whisky at the foot of the Scottish Highlands since 1898. It produced the spirit for this release; independent bottler James Eadie selected the two hogsheads and bottled the matured whisky.
The James Eadie name comes from the Scottish brewer James Eadie, who established a brewery in 1854 and also offered Scotch made to a family recipe. The company is now headed by Rupert Patrick, James Eadie’s great-great-grandson. For The Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland, the bottler revisited historical articles about 124 distilleries visited and photographed between 1922 and 1929, publishing them as a standalone volume. The resulting bottling series pairs these archival images with whiskies selected for their distillery character and harmonious interplay of aromas.
