Tasting Notes:

• Nose: An intense bouquet of juicy red apples, ripe blackberries, and sweet caramel, accompanied by fine spice notes of cinnamon and ginger.

• Finish: Long and syrupy, with a pleasant spiciness and a hint of star anise.

Distillery/Bottler: The Aberlour Distillery, founded in 1826 in the Scottish Speyside region, is known for its full-bodied single malts with a pronounced sherry cask character. The name "Aberlour" means in Gaelic "Mouth of the Chattering Burn" and refers to the location of the distillery at the confluence of two streams. The distillery places great importance on traditional production methods and exclusively uses Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for the a' bunadh to achieve its distinctive flavor.
