Absolut Vodka Liter - neue Ausstattung

Volume: 1 litre | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Absolut Vodka is made from winter wheat grown in Skåne in southern Sweden and water from its own deep springs. Its One Source concept links the origin of the ingredients with local production: from distillation to bottling, production remains in Åhus and the surrounding area.

Alongside its clean underlying character, the classic unflavoured bottling offers pronounced peppery spice and restrained bread notes. It is bottled at 40% alcohol; this version contains 1 litre and comes without gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is almost neutral. Subtle notes of bread dough, crispbread and black pepper emerge.
• Palate: On the palate, the vodka is clean and clear, with black pepper spice. A faint note of dark bread accompanies even subtler hints of vanilla and liquorice.
• Finish: Bold peppery spice lingers on the finish, accompanied by faint vanilla and liquorice notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

Absolut's history dates back to 1879, when the vodka was introduced under the name Absolut rent bränvin. For its centenary in 1979, the bottle was given a design inspired by old Swedish medicine bottles. This shape became a hallmark of the brand.

The Absolut Company is responsible for the brand's production in southern Sweden. Collaboration with farms in the region and the use of its own water sources anchor production in Skåne. Åhus is both the vodka's place of origin and its bottling location.
